Products

For each selected grant giver, the application form displays a list of available resources categorized by the provider.

Details such as remaining resources and allocation time can be viewed by navigating to Allocations and Usage under the Project section of the navigation menu.

Storage

The storage service includes one product:

  • Ceph File System: u1-cephfs.

When applying for resources, users need to specify the total amount of resources for these products in GB. Data can be stored for a duration at least as long as the allocation grant period.

Note

If the current allocation expires, data will not be removed from UCloud. However, users will be unable to add more data or initiate new jobs using the existing data.

Compute

Users can select from five different products offered by the UCloud compute service. Each product is subdivided into various machine types:

  • SDU/K8 CPU nodes: u1-standard

    A standard node consists of 2x Intel(R) Xeon(R) Gold 6130 CPU@2.10 GHz, 32 vCPUs, and 384 GB of memory.

  • SDU/K8 CPU nodes: u1-fat

    A fat node consists of 2x Intel(R) Xeon(R) Gold 6130 CPU@2.10 GHz, 32 vCPUs, and 768 GB of memory.

  • SDU/K8 GPU nodes: u1-gpu

    A GPU node consists of 2x Intel(R) Xeon(R) Gold 6230 CPU@2.10 GHz, 40 vCPUs, and 192 GB of memory; 4x NVIDIA Tesla V100 SXM2 Volta GPUs Accelerators 32GB (NVLink).

  • SDU/K8 GPU nodes: u2-gpu

    A GPU node consists of 2x AMD EPYC 7F72 CPU@3.2 GHz, 48 vCPUs, and 2048 GB of memory; 8x NVIDIA Tesla A100 PCIe GPUs Accelerators 40 GB.

  • SDU/K8 GPU nodes: u3-gpu

    A GPU node consists of 2x AMD EPYC 9454 CPU@2.75 GHz, 96 vCPUs, and 768 GB DDR5-4800 of memory; 4x NVIDIA H100 SMX5 GPUs Accelerators 80 GB.

Public IPs

UCloud apps can be deployed with a static public IP address, facilitating access by external third-party applications.

Note

This feature is only available on a limited set of applications. Allocated IPs can be released if they remain unused for an extended period.

Licenses

Depending on the grant giver, users can also apply for specific software licenses within a project. Software licenses are listed in the Resource allocations panel of the project dashboard, similar to other products.

    A GPU node consists of 2 AMD EPYC 7543 CPU@2.8 GHz, 64 vCPUs, and 512 GB of memory; 8x NVIDIA L4 GPU 24 GB.

  • AAU/K8 GPU nodes: uc1-l40

    A GPU node consists of 2 AMD EPYC 7543 CPU@2.8 GHz, 64 vCPUs, and 768 GB of memory; 8x NVIDIA L40 GPU 48 GB.

The following resources are deployed on the AAU OpenStack system and are accessible within a Virtual Machine.

Important

Data must be transferred from the Virtual Machine via SSH before the process on UCloud is stopped; otherwise, it will be lost.

Compute

Users can select from five different products offered by the UCloud compute service. Each product is subdivided into various machine types:

  • AAU CPU nodes: uc-general

    A CPU node consists of 2 AMD EPYC 7702 CPU@2 GHz, 256 vCPUs, and 1024 GB of memory.

  • AAU GPU nodes: uc-t4

    A GPU node consists of AMD EPYC 7302 CPU@3 GHz, 128 vCPUs and 256 GB of memory; 6x NVIDIA T4 GPU 16 GB.

  • AAU GPU nodes: uc-a10

    A GPU node consists of Intel Xeon Gold 6326 CPU 2.9 GHz, 128 vCPUs and 256 GB of memory; 4x NVIDIA A10 GPU 24 GB.

  • AAU GPU nodes: uc-a40

    A GPU node consists of AMD EPYC 7302 CPU@3 GHz, 128 vCPUs and 512 GB of memory; 3x NVIDIA A40 GPU 48 GB.

  • AAU GPU nodes: uc-a100

    A GPU node consists of AMD EPYC 7302 CPU@3 GHz, 128 vCPUs and 256 GB of memory; 2x NVIDIA A100 GPU 80 GB.

The user can choose three different products:

  • hippo-hm1

    A node consists of 2x AMD EPYC 7742 CPU@2.25Ghz, 64-Core and 480 GB SSD.

  • hippo-hm2

    A node consists of 2x AMD EPYC 7713 CPU@2.0Ghz, 64-Core and 480 GB SSD.

  • hippo-hm3

    A node consists of 2x AMD EPYC 9534 CPU@2.45Ghz, 64-Core and 480 GB SSD.

When applying for resources, the user must specify the overall amount of resources for these products in core hours.
